Weak hips? Need to activate your glutes? Core not strong enough? In need of a good stretch? Then come on out to The FRESH Foundation and do all the sh*t we should do and don't!
This hour-long class is less about cardio and more focused on foundational strength. We start with a nice warm up before moving into hip, glute, and core strengthening of various kinds. We then put things together in some dynamic balancing exercises—challenging all the muscles we just strengthened. Class usually ends with some foam rolling or stretching.
Come on out and get all those small stabilizers to turn on and create a more balanced you!
Who is this activity for?
Anyone who loves to move. Every class has a wide range of age and fitness levels. There is a mix of serious outdoor adventure folk, beer drinking folk and "I just want a good workout" folk. Everyone is welcome to join our community.
What is provided?
All equipment is provided, along with water and sweat towels.
What should you bring?
A water bottle and fun attitude!
When is this class?
PACE is the Portland Athletic Center of Excellence (also home to Therapeutic Associates North Portland Physical Therapy). Look for the big garage door on Wygant St., just west of MLK Blvd.
