About Anna

Hi! My name is Anna and I’ve always had a complicated relationship with movement. It wasn't until I found yoga that I realized how incredible my body was. Through the practice of yoga, as well as boxing and dance, I’ve come to the realization that my body is a brilliant vessel and can do almost anything.

Movement—be it freeform dance or yoga flow—is also the way I take space and honor that I am allowed to exist in my body as it is. The toll my body bears by living in a world full of weight stigma is combated by these practices. Movement is my form of activism and resistance against the idea that “I’m not worthy” or “I’m not enough.”

Anna lives in Southeast Portland with her cat, Phin.


I’ve completed 200 hours of Yoga Teacher Training with Yoga works and 25 hours of Yoga for All training.

I love Sushi, and Japanese bar food the best!
