Back in the fall of 2011, I had an online coupon to try a pole dancing class with a friend of mine. The day of the class, my friend bailed, but I bravely went anyways. I had no previous dance background, but within the first 15 minutes of class, I knew I was meant to be there; I knew I was meant to learn this particular body language and teach this movement one day. I was a different person walking out of class that day—my body had awakened to her sensuality, and the curtains were pulled back from my eyes. I could see beauty in EVERY body and (incredibly enough), in my own.
Just six months after my first class, I started teacher training and never looked back. I've been teaching sensual movement and embodied flow since 2012, awakening bodies to the brilliance of their personal and unique flow. As an S Factor (pole and sensuous dance) teacher, I've guided students through the most soulful and intuitive style of pole dance; opening the female body into her full, free, erotic expression.
Holding space and guiding others through their own discovery of movement and sensual awakening fills me up; it is my purpose. I decided to expand my knowledge and deepen my teaching practice by taking the Liquid Motion® certification in early 2018. This movement has has enriched my personal body voice in ways I could not have imagined. My body's language erupted, expanded, and became more intentional. Just like any language, the more you learn, the more fluent you become.
With my deep background in sensual movement, when you take a Liquid Motion® class with me, I'll expand your floor work through technical sequences resulting in seamless and natural movement qualities. You'll learn how to tap into your senses and expand into the natural rhythm of your movement; unleashing the fullness of your authentic body voice. I dare you to come explore the possibilities!
